When my daughter and I served in Girl Scouts we had the opportunity to remodeled a room for a family in the shelter. You could tell they were women and children in the same room, and my husband had to get permission to go onto the floor to bring up the furniture. The shelter has to clear the floor. Most of the women were hiding. They had been so mentally and physically abused. This undisclosed shelter is near and dear to my heart so I want to help them with whatever they may need. Anywhere from clothes for the children and new work clothes for the women. I hope to help them have a new start.
